Meet Corinne

Corinne Brouwer

Corinne is the artist and visionary behind Sacks Second Avenue. She lives and sews in Le Mars, Iowa. 

Corinne uses 100% cotton for her sacks and sews then on her beloved Pfaff sewing machine. She tends to sew later in the day, after her two children are asleep in bed. If she can sneak away during the day to sew, you can bet that you'll find her with a warm cup of tea within arms reach. 

Corinne is a social worker by training. While she isn't working with her elderly clients right now, you can see her passion for people and connection in her creations.

She loves nothing more than to sell a set of sacks to a family who will use them year after year to wrap their children's gifts.
